Help!

Hey everyone. I have started a new adventure with a good friend and we would love your support. We are creating our own line of handmade gifts by Loopty Loo Designs. This weekend we are holding a Open House Boutique at my house. I would love to have anyone that can, to come . . . . and bring a friend. If you don't live in Utah, don't worry. We are opening an Etsy store within the next week. If you have any suggestions ever about our products, let me know. Our etsy store address is www.looptyloodesigns.etsy.com and our email is looptyloodesigns@gmail.com. Thanks for your support!!!

Rewind

Yes, I feel like I keep rewinding as I finally download all these pictures from the summer. These pictures are from my cell phone, which has been handy to have since I keep forgetting my real camera. So again, here are some highlights.
Visit to Wheeler Farm with Grandma & Grandpa.
Lydia wanted to touch all the animals.

Feeding the ducks. Lydia loved doing this.

My little man enjoying the ducks.

Herriman City Summer Party.
Every year Herriman City throws a party for all their employees. One of the many perks that we get because Rafael works for Parks & Recreations.
Lydia and Wesley going for a ride.

Lydia got to ride Kit Kat. The horse belongs to a family friend. She is always talking about riding horses and asks if we can get one for our backyard.

Swimming at the pool. The Prenoveau's came to stay as well as Rafael's brother (Maui) and family for the Provo River half marathon. We were able to come tag along and swim in their clubhouse pool.
Wesley lounging by the pool.

Herriman Hills Ward Rodeo. Lydia got to play one of the games and ended up winning a watermelon.

Lydia with her prize.

Now Summer is over. Moving on to Halloween. It seems like we have been celebrating Halloween all month so I still have a little more catching up to do.

More Catch Up

Hopefully I won't fall behind on blogging again, but the Holidays are coming, so no guarantee.
Lydia started Preschool in September. Here is a picture of her on her first day showing off her Hello Kitty backpack.

Just a few pictures of Wesley. He is getting so big, not much of a "baby" anymore.

I have a ton of pictures on my cell phone I need to upload to my computer. I don't even remember what pictures are on there, but I am sure there are some gems. Hopefully that will be my last "catch up" post and I can stay with the times.

What, summer is over?

Wow, have I been MIA!!!! I haven't even posted summer pics. At this point, I think I will just have to post the highlights from the last 2 months because I already feel overwhelmed about trying to catch up.

Fort Herriman Days

Our visit from Great-Grammy, Great-Granddaddy, Grandma & Grandpa
Wesley's First Haircut (he was starting to look like a clown)

Post Haircut
Lydia riding her new tricycle she got for Christmas
Water Fun
Wesley trying out the pool

He didn't really enjoy the pool
Lydia dressing up. She was playing "Church". By the way, that is my shirt which somehow became a dress.
Wesley's favorite hiding place.
He loved this balloon from his party. It stayed inflated for months and he would carry it around by the ribbon Lydia put on it.
That's it for now. I will try to post more later.

2 Hours 5 Minutes

Yes, everyone can relax . . . I'm still alive. I ran the Provo River half marathon last Saturday and survived and I even finished within my goal time. I was able to run with my friend Amy, who I have been training with for the last 12 weeks. Thanks Amy for pushing me into this whole new world of running. Secretly, I have started to really enjoy it and want to continue to push myself. Amy and I are already trying to decide what our next goal will be.

This is a picture of Amy, Scott (her husband) and me before the race. Yes it is dark . . . it was 5:00am.

Post Race!

Lydia decided she needed to be in each picture and that she had to wear her "running shoes" that day.

10K Race

I didn't die and collapse on the side of the road!!! I completed the Herriman 10K Step-Rock-Run on Saturday with a whole bunch of friends. This was the big goal for the last 6 weeks and I am happy to say that I ran the whole thing and completed it in under an hour, which was my goal. Now on to the next goal - Provo River 1/2 marathon in August - 6 more weeks of training! Now that one, I'm not sure . . . you may find me collapsed on the side of the road.

Wesley's 1st Birthday

Our little Wesley turned one on Saturday. Wow, has the time gone by so fast. He is such a happy little guy. He just recently got two more teeth on top and is starting to test his walking skills. We love him so much and I can't wait to see more of his personality develop.

I decided to do a Thomas the Train party since he loves watching Thomas and already plays with a few Thomas toys we have. Here is a picture of the cake.

When I made the cake I had some extra cake batter, so I decided to make Wesley his very own cake. Nothing fancy just his name and some sprinkles.

As you can tell from the picture, Wesley has a worried look on his face. I'm not sure if he liked all the attention. Once we sang Happy Birthday, I stripped him down to his diaper and put the cake in front of him. He didn't really know what to do at first but eventually when everyone quit looking at him, he started chowing down.

Wesley got lots of fun toys, so thank you to everyone!

Remember the movie "The Money Pit"?

So we don't have a money pit, but we have a time pit. The renters moved out of our rental property and we decided that we just didn't want to do the Landlord thing anymore, so we've decided to sell it. Now to the time pit thing . . . the home is in really good shape but needed to be cleaned, painted, etc. To sell the home we also decided the kitchen needed to be updated . . . when you see the pictures, you'll understand. And so, our adventure began about 6 weeks ago. We ripped everything out of the kitchen and begun the task of remodeling and reassembling the kitchen. Oh, how long everything takes when you have 2 kids needing your attention. This is also why I have severely neglected my blog . . . not that hundreds of people follow it, (okay maybe only 5). So now for the fun part. I have included before and after pictures of our "time pit" project.

And now the Kitchen After

Oh, how time flies when you are having fun! Now it just needs to sell. Any takers?
